The name “Polyhide” is derived from “Polygon Hide,” a concept in 3D modeling where hidden polygons are used to improve workflow. This symbolizes the unseen yet essential aspects of the creative process that can significantly impact the final result. Founded by Alessandro Lima (www.alessandrolima.com), a seasoned professional with over 22 years of experience in the CG industry, Polyhide Studio has been a trusted partner in over 40 digital game projects for both national and international clients. Alessandro has also guided and managed more than 60 game projects, published 6 technical books on 3D production and PBR textures, and holds a Master’s degree in Design, specializing in agile methods applied to 3D model development.
